Humans – Destroyers of Earth

Climate change… A subject that concerns every human being on earth. Everyone also knows what the causes of climate change are:

  • Use of fossil fuels (coal, oil and gas)
  • Deforestation of rainforests
  • Stockbreeding

The most common greenhouse gas produced by human activities is CO2, to which 63% of global warming is attributed. The concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere today is 40% higher than at the beginning of industrialization. Yes, this goes back to industrialization and it's getting worse.

Today the average temperature is 0.85 °C higher than in the 19th century. The glaciers, Greenland, the Arctic and Antarctica are most affected, as more and more snow melts there. By the year 2100, climate change is expected to cause an increase of up to 6.5 °C if nothing is done about it. Serious effects such as floods of the century, droughts and gigantic hurricanes will occur at temperatures as low as 2°C.

Politicians are not doing much against global warming. Many politicians only pretend to get involved, but this is often just a strategy to get more sympathy.

Many people just watch as the state of the earth deteriorates.

Climate change can no longer be stopped completely as it has already begun, but we can still mitigate the consequences significantly, but much must be done to create a future for all of us that is worth living in. By 2050, we must prevent greenhouse gas emissions from rising. This can only happen if we all help together!

Wake up. The time has come. Together we are stronger!
