Project concept: Junk food - Production and Impact

Hello everyone,

If you are interested in our project idea you are very welcome to join our group. Just write a comment below this post. We are looking forward hearing from you! :)

Following you will find our concept, so you know how we imagine the international collaboration with you as a partner.

Names of the research team

Lisa Hediger, Noémie Käser (Switzerland) + what about you?

Focus on

  • What is Junk Food?
  • How is it produced?
  • Which impact has the production of junk food on the environment?

Goal

We want to show clearly what the impact of Junk Food production for our environment is and how we can improve the situation.

Step by step

What we are going to do:

  • Create an online survey with Survio.com (we share this survey with people WE know)
    • Analyze the online survey
    • Create charts
  • Do some research and write a post about how junk food is produced
  • Do some research about: "Which impact has the production of junk food on the environment?" + write post

What you are going to do:

  • Share the online survey, which we created, with people YOU know, so we get a wide range of different answers
  • Interview a junk food restaurant in your surrounding area (media: video, audio or digital written in English)
  • Define what junk food is and write a post about it
  • Do some research about: "Which impact has the production of junk food on the environment?" + write post

Information sources

Our expectations

  • Good teamwork
  • Learn new stuff
  • Engagement form both sides
  • Find acceptable compromises when there are problems

Link to our brainstorming post about the collaboration.

Final result

We will combine OUR posts in one and publish it, including the interview and the charts on "don't waste my energy".

Thank you very much for your interest and comments.

Best wishes!

    Very good work!
-Maybe you could add a rough time plan or guess (who is doing what in what time frame)
-Please choose a survey tool which is suitable for >500 participants (for free), my suggestion is kobotoolbox (as discussed and sent you by mail)
