Introduction:
Many people in the world already have a mobile phone. You need a phone to make calls, chat, email and be on social media. Apps are required to perform these tasks. You need gigabytes to download and buy apps. And actually isn’t it tedious (mühsam) to pay more for a phone just to have more gigabytes to download more apps? Wouldn’t it be more interesting and better to have just one app for everything? It seemed very cool for us. That’s why we decided to create a app and would like to bring you closer to the whole thing.
Our Idea:
As already mentioned, our idea is to create a new app mostly to communicate. In this app you have many categories such as social media (Whatsapp, Snapchat, Instagram...), and School (communication with teachers and students, general information, possibility to download homework directly) and more categories, which we don’t know yet.
Our Goal and how we can reach it:
Our goal is of course to design a single platform that is used by everyone. And that should give more storage space (Speicherplatz) for photos and videos. With this app you could save a lot of storage space and if problems arise, you can easily find a supporter with one click. There will only be one support center for the entire app. We are aware that it is not easy to create such an app. Above all, you need the knowledge for that. Since we do not have the knowledge ourselves, we would book an IT-company or a single person for it. If the app exists, you must first check whether it works at all. It's a long way to get there, but with a lot of discipline and patience it would work.
Challenge:
What would definitely be a challenge is to start creating an app. You definitely have to have a clue. It would also logically have to clarify this with the social media channels whether they would like to cooperate and then conclude a contract together. That takes definitively a lot of time. The next challenge would be to tell everyone that there is now an app for everything. You would have to advertise a lot or arrange (abmachen) with the mobile phone manufacturers that all mobile phone users should receive a message immediately that they have to download this app because the others will no longer exist.
Conclusion:
It would be very interesting to know which people saved how much storage space. We are sure that it would be a lot. It would also surprise us how people get on with this app. What difficulties it posed and the first impression. To sum up, it would be very exciting to create a app like this and we ourselves would like this app. However, it is almost impossible. You would really have to sit and work on it for years.
