"Foodsharing" is an initiative aiming to minimize food waste which is run by a group of people who regularly get good local food from restaurants, shops and even producers such as farmers that would otherwise be lost, thrown away. Many shops and restaurants are part of this network which already exists in several cities, e.g. in Germany, Austria and German speaking Switzerland.
