I chose these three links because I'm very interested in agriculture and everything that has to do with it. I have been living on a farm in Hinwil since childhood and grew up with the animals and nature and so I also have been convoned from an early age. I love to work on our farm with the animals and the nature.

Why I am interested in this post: I never tought about this topic. Leftover food is given to guests and doesn't get thrown away.

Why I am interested in this post: I learned that the ingredients dont lose their vitamins during the flight. Every passenger produces 1.4 Kilogram waste per Flight including plastic, cardboard and paper.

I took this article because it's very interesting, what happend with the waste after a flight. Several airlines have a plan to reduce their waste. From seperate kitchen waste they produce biogas.

 

Chicken consumption

It's a very interesting article. The interview with Mr. Kündig from the Heggenhof Grüningen. The questions are well chosen and the article shows really good the chicken consumption.

 

Future buildings

This article shows the development of the different houses. They descripe the actual situation and the issues. Which resources are used and how long it took to build the main building, and was it worth? The group search answers to this questions and visit NEST (Next Evolution in Sustainable Building Technologies) to figure it out.

I like this post becaus I've always seen that there is a lot of food waste at weddings. It's very important for the catering company to take care of this problem. A good idea is to give the leftovers to the guests or homeless people, that would be even better since they really need it.  More...
