Hello everybody
Our project is drawing to a close. In order to that we would like to do a reflection and talk about the teamwork and how we experienced it.
We've chosen a project, which we thought would be very interesting. That's why we felt very motivated from the beginning. We researched a lot about the topic and we talked a lot with our family and friends. That's how we got all the knowledge to this project. The teamwork was great. We often split up the work and if we had any questions, we could always ask one another. In order to that, we had to trust each other, especially in relation to our english-skills. We both are at the same english level and that's why it was fun to work with each other. Occasionally we had different opinion. Maria for example wanted to live vegan for one week, while Deniz thought vegan would be enough. But in the end, we always found a solution, which made both of us happy. That's what we think is extremely important while working in a team.
Sometimes we had time issues, as we also had a lot to do with the other school subjects. As well, we had to write our graduation work, which took us a lot of time. But as well, we managed it to create a project that we're very happy with.
Best regards, Deniz and Maria
Today we put all the researches and interviews together to one text. Now we're almost ready to publish our post. But before this step, we want to shape the post by correcting some grammar mistakes and by forming the sentences correctly. To shape it, we wrote an introduction at the beginning of our post.
We're very happy to see how our post is getting created step by step and how far we are now. Now we're getting closer to the end of our project.
Best regards,
Deniz and Maria

We quickly realized how important communication is in a teamwork. The goal was to work together with our team members in India, which unfortunately was not achieved in the beginning because it was difficult to establish contact. Therefore we had to start alone. We both could throw in our ideas, discuss and show our own strengths. Since there were "only" the two of us in the end, we quickly got into stress, because we lost a lot of time. Nevertheless we managed to find and write down the necessary information. Also the survey with the family went without any problems.
What did we learn regarding teamwork during this time?
- Time management is very important
- In order for the team to work, we have to listen to the other person and also accept other opinions
- In teamwork there is a give and take, i.e. the tasks must be divided fairly and attention must be paid to each other
Of course we found out a lot of interesting facts and information about our topic. The post will be published soon.
For our project research we used the following links:More...
Since we already promoted our idea with a small film at the beginning of the school project, we wanted to work with films in the main project as well. In a simple learning video we wanted to explain in a simple way what the challenges in shipping are.
The first thing we thought about was, which 3 challenges come first. So it was possible for us to split up and collect each of us on the various challenges on the Internet. After the text was written, we created the appropriate videos.

On the Internet, we searched for suitable programs in the field of animated films that can be used free of charge. We chose the "Animaker" website. First we had to get to know the program and understand how to use it. Since not all applications within the program are free, we had to be creative. The time per film was also limited to 2 minutes. So we had to limit ourselves in terms of content and bring only the most important facts.

So that the educational films had an appealing background music, we searched the internet for music that could be used free of charge. We were able to find the right pieces of music on Bensound and mentioned the source accordingly in the films.
We wanted to reproduce the interviews as we had conducted them with the two companies. We therefore decided to make the interviews available in PDF form in English and German at the end of the article.

- Do the interview with the local farm shop
- Read the "Taten-statt-Worte" Guidelines and pick out some good informations
- Write new parts from our contribution on befter
Best wishes,

We prepared a few questions for the survey.
We still have to decide whether we do the survey online or live.
Afterwards we have to make an appointment with the Bio Farm to see how they produce the meat.
1. How often do you eat meat?
At home, we eat at least once a day meat. We change it. On one day we eat chicken and on the other fish or anything else.
2. Do you think meat will be replaced in a few years?
No I don't think so. The majority still eats meat and will still be eating meat. There might be more vegetarians in a few years but meat won't be replaced, not in switzerland.
3. Is a vegeterian life better?
Can't really tell. I personally cant resist meat.
4. Did you ever see how they produced the meat?
5. Do you think that we increase the eating of food?
We've got an answer to our request about visiting a hemp-farm. They told us that they don't have enough time to show us their hemp-farm because they have a huge amount of requests from other students as well. But they said we can send them our questions for our interview and they will try their best to answer them. Our next steps will therefore be:
- sending them our questions per e-Mail
- start to collect their answers as well as our informations and findings
- prepare the documents so we can publish our project as soon as possible

Hello everyone,
At home we asked our family about our topic "impact on food by climate". Today we will analyse the answers and write them down and also find out what the biggest difference is between the older and the younger generation (parents and siblings).
It would be advantageous if we could prepare everything for the post on dontwastemy.energy.
Best regards,
Maria & Deniz
