Nowadays it is normal to drive to work by car in the morning. But is that necessary? In Switzerland, we can be proud of our public transport, because it connects even the smallest villages. Why do not we just use public transport? Because of convenience? In addition, owning a car is much more expensive than, for example, a train subscription for the whole of Switzerland. A car-free life is also much better for the environment. That's why we challenge you to live without a car for a month!

    Dear Deia I think this is a very good idea.
    Our public transport is so good and I do believe, when people try it out once, they realize that it is a good alternative to the car Smile

    That's a very interesting topic and people aren't thinking enough about it. I personally go to work by train, but it's because I can't drive the car at the moment. But in my opinion it's more comfortable to go by car, because trains are often full of people. But as you mentioned, we're very happy with our public transports. It would be very interesting if you'd do a survey or an interview about the opinion of other people.

    You have chosen a very interesting and important topic. I think, Switzerland can be a good role model for other countries. But especially in the evening the trains and buses are full of people and I think there are also many people which are to lazy to walk to the bus station. It would be interesting, if you would do a survey about why people take their car instead of the bus or train.

    I think that‘s a really cool idea.
    My problem with the public transport in Switzerland is, that it is much too expensive. But if it would be more valuable, I think it would be a better alternative.
