How much mineral oil is needed for one portion of french-fries?

Hello together

We like to show you our new project about mineral oil. Our goal is to find out how much mineral oil is needed to produce one portion of french-fries. Moreover we want to calculate the costs for one portion of french-fries, if we use natural energy sources. At the end we gonna use our calculations to look how much Mineral oil is used in one year just for the production of French-fries in switzerland.

    Hey Shana and Rahel
    I assume you are going to use the data of large industrial companies? If so, then you could also compare your results with self-made french-fries out of the oven and analyse if this uses less mineral oil? What do you think?
    I look forward to this interesting project!

    Since I love french fries it would be interesting to find out how much oil is needed. If it needs a lot of oil, it‘d be good if I eat a little less french fries. So, I would be happy if you‘ll share the results with me.

    Dear Rahel and Shana

    Your project idea sounds very interesting to me. Because till now I don't know anything about mineral oil. Especially how much mineral oil is needed to produce a portion of french fries.

    Maybe it's also interesting to calculate how much Mineral oil is needed for other products.
