Hi everyone

Today I made a lot of research about the maritime transportation. You can find many interesting websites concerning our project here.
 

 

 

FREIGHTSHIP
Freight ships are transportation instruments for transporting the freight over water.

EMISSION
No other industry pollutes the atmosphere as much as ocean shipping.

BANANA PLANTAGE IN SWITZERLAND
The Swiss eat 11.5 kilos of yellow fruit per capita every year. The yellow fruit for the Coop branches ripens in Switzerland's largest banana ripening facility in Kaiseraugst.

SUSTAINABLE?
Shipping is one of the main causes of air pollution in Europe. Without countermeasures, the climate and harmful emissions from cruises and cargo ships in 2020 will exceed emissions from all other sources in the EU. These exhaust gas quantities must be significantly reduced!

    Hi,
    Your research is very interesting! We have also already searched a lot of information on the internet (You can find our research on the horse). The only remark I have is that our group read that maritime transportation is actually a very ecological way of transportation and isn't very polluting as other transportation means like airplanes and trucks. There are of course still ways to reduce the pollution of maritime transportation. Maybe this is interesting to investigate a little more, because of other information in your research.
