Hy together
Here you find our experiance about the project.
In order to learn more about ship transport, it was important for our team to speak directly to specialists. We were delighted that we quickly received positive responses to our email inquiries. They were ready to answer critical questions by email. This was especially astonishing, as shipping was currently heavily criticized due to climate change. We were afraid that our requests would be put right away.
In order to develop a better project with more views from other countries, we wanted to get in touch with other students from Belgium and India. However, as expected, it turned out to be very difficult. Not only the time zones of the world played a major role, but also the different examination phases and holidays were decisive. Unfortunately, despite many attempts to contact us, we were unable to work together.
The team worked very well together. Both team members were able to incorporate their strengths into the project. Everyone could contribute their ideas without problems. Through various views, the topic could be reduced to the most important.
We had the time management very well under control. We were able to achieve our goals almost every week. This was the basis for this project.
The project showed us:
That time management is very important when working on the project.
That it is elementary that the team works. Because on that the worked out can be built.
That it is difficult to communicate with other people from other continents.
That the world would not be as advanced as it is today without the invention of the ship.
That the world relies on shipping and it wouldn't work without it.
That people want to consume more and more, but that ship transport will eventually
reach its limits. (Too little wide Panama and Suez Canal)
