Will the oil and gold rush be followed by the water rush? The world population is growing steadily and so is agriculture. As a result, the demand for water is exploding all over the world. Pollution and climate change exacerbate this problem. By 2050, at least one in four will live in a country affected by chronic water shortages. This is arousing the interest of financial giants who want to make a profit out of water and are already investing billions in it today. ARTE gives an overview.
