Hello
I had the idea to share the house. You can give your house to somone else, while you are in Holidays for example.
Best regards

Hello together
Nowadays the mineral oil is getting narrow and we need to replace this energy source with renewable energy. This is how Rahel and I got our idea for our second Project in T&U. We would like to calculate how many water supply companies, wind generators and photovoltaic cells you need to cut down to half of the amount of mineral oil we use now.
It would also be possible to share the photovolatic cells. So neighbours or familiy members could share their renewable energy and the costs for the production.
We will spend the first two lessons with searching good sources and after that we will start to calculate.

Nowadays digital archiving is a big topic. A lot of companies try to work paperless. Some of them are more advanced in this process than others. Companies try to keep dossiers online, a lot of exams are taken on the computer and for example the "schweizerische Bundesbahnen" (SBB) try to support the online purchase of their ticket in order to keep them on the mobile phone to avoid printing paper. This method is very ecofriendly.

In my opinion digitalization is a current topic which is very important, especially for our economy. I am confronted with it everyday, for example at work or at school. But digitalization can also be negative for our environment, because I've also heard about the fact, that energy can't just be reduced. That's why I'm very interested in this topic and why I would like to deepen my knowledge about it.

Maria
I thought that the topic geothermal energy is interesting and I don't know much about it. I did some research and found out the following:
- 99% of the earth is hotter than 1'000 degrees
- Under our feet is a huge and always available energy potential
- Geothermal energy can be used to heat buildings and to generate electricity
- Iceland is a role model: wants to make itself independent of fossil fuels in its energy supply
- Geological situatioin with its many volcanoes is a prerequisite for the use of geothermal energy in Iceland
- Could also be used in Central Europe: Potential is available
Questions for which I would like to have answers would be the following:
- Where does geothermal energy come from?
- Where does it go?
- What is the big advantage over gas or oil?
- Are there any disadvantages?

Best regards,
Deniz
One of the easiest way to come from one place to another is the car.
In Switzerland, the traffic generates 33 % of the greenhouse gases without international air traffic. Even thought e-cars getting more popular, the number of cars on the streets raise more and more.

With the link down below, you will find more information’s about the effects from traffic.
Traffic - shorter distances, more ecological way's, WWF (german)
My idea is to understand and find solutions, what we can do to reduce the use of a car, what else is necessary that all the ideas which even exist to considerate the environment, functionate with the population. What can we afford with car sharing or public transport, and how big is the impact from the air traffic cruise ship.
Best wishes,
Selina
Nowadays Food is wasted everywhere. And it's not only food that is wasted, but many, many resources that were used in the production of the food, whether it's water, soil or labour. This waste is bad for the environment. More...
Besides the natural resources, sun and water there is also the air.
Wind energy can be used to generate renewable energy. Wind energy can optimally complement hydropower (Wasserkraft) and solar energy.

The advantages:
- The greenhouse effect is reduced and thus the ecosystem can be supported
- When using regenerative energy, no harmful fuels (Brennstoffe) are needed, thus preventing damage to the environment and health.
- By using wind power plants, the energy from nuclear power plants (Kernkraftanlagen) will become unnecessary.

One way to produce renewable energy is with a hydroelectric power station (Wasserkraftwerk). It is eco-friendly because you can produce electricity without destroying the environment. More...
I'm sure that you all have heard from solar energy before! 🌞
People have always made use of solar energy, for example when they let their laundry dry outdoors. Today, the word "solar energy" mainly brings to mind that people can make electricity from it. However, this requires solar cells that take up a lot of space. The sun's rays are converted directly into electricity. Such solar cells can already be seen on many house and factory roofs. More...
