A laptop has always been used for 3 hours a day. It used 50 Watts = 0.15 kwh per day. The costs for 1kwh is 0.20 Francs

Now because of the corona virus we have to use the laptop for 7 hours a day. How many kilowatt hours per day is that and how much does it cost per day?

    For 7 Hours a day --> 50 watts --> 0.35 Kilowatthours per day
    1 kwh is 0.20 Francs so 0.35 kwh is 0.07 Francs per day

    If the laptop is used 7 hours a day, it needs 0.35 kwh per day and will cost 0.007 francs.

    I got the same result as Seraina it makes 0.35 kwH per day which costs 0.07 swiss francs a day.

    My solution would be: 0.35 kWh per day and will cost 0.007 francs.

    Also the same solution as Zeynep and the others: 0.35 kWh per day and this will cost 0.007 francs.

    1kwH costs 0.20 CHF --> 0.35kwH costs 0.07 CHF per day
